This morning I bent Dugan over my knee
and he thanked me
why? because he'd taken off his poopy diaper and run to get me to clean him up That's trust--that's what I'm working towards

Re: This morning I bent Dugan over my knee
My first thought was a memory of sitting on a barrel cactus (tripped while running backwards playing tag) and maybe Dugan needed that kind of attention with a pair of tweezers...so glad it was just a diaper. And of course, that it was a gentle mama posting that title.

Re: This morning I bent Dugan over my knee
ISn't it great how these things take on a whole nuther feeling in a GBD home. I love watching Cecilia play with DH belt every morning. He leaves his belt and pants hes going to wear on the bed. And these are heavy weight leather belts the type that as a child made us kids cringe and was taboo and bad luck to touch. Cecilia how ever winds them five times around her little waist and struts around saying Look I'm just like daddy! She has no idea that item is looked at in fear by many.
