Can I freeze silken tofu?
I used half a package of silken tofu (the kind that comes in a tatra pak) for a recipe I was making tonight. Just wondering if the other half can be frozen, as I don't plan on using it up real soon.
Thanks!

Re: Can I freeze silken tofu?
You can freeze it. The texture will be very different when you thaw it though. It will be almost spongy, good for a meat substitute, like in chili, and it will soak up more of the flavor of what it's cooked with. You won't want to use it in a smoothy.
