Someone stole my mei tei

I took dd to the park and left my sling on the grass as I walked around to the other side of the play set and put our toes in the bay. It was about 7:45 pm and not very dark, but on my way back, it was gone!!

I think it was probably a homeless person who didn't realize it was something they couldn't use. I went back this morning & it still wasn't around (I was hoping they would throw it away - in the trash, or in the park). I even spoke to a grounds keeper that was cleaning up and he didn't see it.

Now I'll have to get a new one, but it'll take 4 or so weeks to get here. And I was planning on going to LA this weekend to see my friend and would have needed it for our long walks. I still have my OTSBH, but it isn't so comfy as my mei tei.

How sad for you! Could you order an Ergo for your trip? I know mine only took a few days to arrive. Or possibly borrow a Mei Tei from someone on the board who dosen't use theirs much?
