Re: whats the difference between a wrap and a sling?
A sling is a piece of fabric that goes over one shoulder. It is held together by rings. A wrap in one very long continous piece of fabric that wraps over your belly and up over both of your shoulders and then ties at your waist. Personally, I couldn't use a sling with a newborn. I just couldn't get the hang of it. I use it occassionaly now that I can hip carry my baby. I loved my wrap from the beginning. However, I imagine it would be difficult to use with those stitches as it wraps right around your abdomen area. I'm also a shorter momma.
