Help! My bowl is stuck on my Kitchenaid Mixer!

Ok, I made a double batch of noodle dough this morning, wrapped it up to rest, did laundry and stuff....
and now I cannot get the mixer bowl off of the mixer!

Has this happened to anyone else?
How can I get that thing off of there???

I guess maybe I wasn't meant to make chocolate chip cookies today.

I had this happened to me yesterday!!! (first time I've ever had a problem w/this)

My dh had to get it out for me.

Ugh! I finally got it! Dh emailed me and told me to put it in a sinkful of hot water(think he has it in for me???).
I put boiling water in it and let it sit and then twisted it off finally. Got hot water all over, but not on me, thank goodness!

I am so glad I'm not the only one to have this happen! Maybe it's the humidity or something?

Hot water is a good idea... I'll have to remember that in case it ever happens again. I think mine got stuck because I'd been using it a lot that day and I didn't quite have it perfectly lined up w/the grooves.
