might be allergies!
ok, dd2 had a physical eval last wk. me and the lady *kinda* hit it off talking. we of course talked about abbeys history, that includes what the nuero says are seizures, although no test to confirm. anyways...her son has allergies so she got a book 'is this your child' and today when we were there she came and told me there was a lil bit there about children having the blank stares because of allergy! she's been having a LOT less episodes recently since sept-oct or so. we changed our diet big time around then because of ds's allergies. so now i hafta think that might be her issue. i have the same stareoffs and mine are *almost* gone since being on this diet!! I might have an answer that doesn't make me look like a horrible mom to the medical feild (ha!)! (i stopped giving dd seizure meds for many dif reasons even though it was strongly recommended against)
she's gonna bring the book by so i can look at it some. now to just figure out what all the triggers are? |
