Cookware?

I've been hearing how teflon is so bad for you-so what kind of cookware should I use? I've been thinking seriously about cast iron, but it is SO heavy!

I'd have some major muscles in no time!

What kinds of cookware have you used, and what did you like/dislike about it?

We use stainless steel. I love it. I bought a great set at Costco. I would like to get some cast-iron, too. Just haven't yet.

We used to have teflon, but I don't want to use that anymore.

We're cast iron all the way. I have 2 frying pans, a griddle, and a great dutch oven. The only problem with the dutch oven is that everything I cook in it takes on this dark yucky look, like I made red beans the other day and they looked like black beans :P. They were so delish though so it didn't matter. I wouldn't trade it for the world, now I am strong and it does take two hands to drain and stuff.

Where did everybody get their cast iron stuff from? I saw a set (frying pan, dutch oven and sauce pan)in a catalog about six months ago but didn't have the $ for it so I set the catalog aside for "someday" and now it's diappeared. Anybody know of any good deals?
