I modified
this recipe last night with great success.
For eight burgers, you need:
1/2 cup quinoa
2 1/4 cups water or broth
1 small onion, finely chopped
1 cup chopped celery
1 1/2 cups cooked black beans
2 garlic cloves
Spices (I used cumin, sea slat, black pepper, and a bit of oregano and chili powder to taste)
I doubled the batch and the four of us ate them all
I simply cooked the beans in the crockpot, cooked the quinoa with celery & onions in water with
veggie broth powder, put the beans & quinoa in the food processor. Added garlic, cumin, a bit of oregano & chili powder, and baked them on cookie sheets with parchment paper. I did not fry them at all, just baked them. So good!
