Playing "mean"

Evan will often play "mean" with his toys. Like, his cars will "hit" and "yell" at each other or his Buzz & Woody will fight. Is it okay to continue to allow him to express this through his play (so long as he doesn't hurt anyone else) or should I be redirecting him?
