So it says on website that they should fit to 18lbs, my dd is like 12ish I think and I just had to unsnap the last snap to make it high enough to cover the top of diaper.. I use it over a kissaluv sz 1, or prefolds. Does this sound normal, or am I doing it wrong?

I don't remember how many pounds I got to with the size 1s, but I know we definitely didn't make it to 18. They run small for sure.

Agree. I'm not sure how much my girl weighs at 5.5 months...but we really need to get some size 2. She sometimes shows a little plumber's crack. :giggle

Ok so I'm not crazy! I'm hoping ill get another month or two out of it, but :shrug :)

I think over a fitted diaper you aren't going to get to 18lbs. We stopped using them at like 15lbs over KL0s.
