G-diaper covers as...well a cover?

There is a lady locally that is selling 2 bummies diapers, a gaby diaper (?) and several g-diaper covers and inserts for $15. I don't want to do the throw away part of the g-diaper...but would the cover work fine with my flats and prefolds?

You can trifold a prefold or flat in the little pul type insert that snaps in. I just picked up 4 small gdiapers off freecycle for exactly that purpose!

Yup, I used to trifold newborn prefolds into the snap in liner and it worked fine

I have a couple g diapers I found at goodwill and use them as covers for prefolds or fitteds :yes They work great!
