Yep, it all went in the same wash. Granted, newborn poop did stain.

Little vinegar will fix that right up.

For smells, but also for stains. Sumo's in that transition stage where sometimes he's got runny baby poops, sometimes big hard turds, sometimes prune-fueled black grease, etc.

Our formula of cold rinse w/white vinegar, then hot wash w/Charlie's Soap gets rid of stains and smells from all forms of poop. Vinegar has even removed dried-in poop stains from clothes when I was a newbie and didn't know that breastfed newborn poop STAINS!

It works because it's acidic, and the acids actually eat the proteins right out of the diaper.

I line dry diapers as much as possible and the sun is a master stain remover.

I always washed them together. I don't ever recall having any stains. However, I washed them twice (adding bleach to 2nd wash -- I used prefolds) and did an extra rinse.

Yep, wash them together, always! The breast-milk poo does stain when I can't line dry them, but that doesn't bother me at all.

So does the hot dryer if it gets over 160-180 degrees for at least 20 minutes.
