I plan on having a set of prefolds on hand for the first few days of baby's life and I am not sure how many snappi's is ideal? 2? 10? 20? Seriously, I have no clue.

Any leads? :)

I would say 2-5 would be more than enough

You can manage with one.

I like to have two or three.

One should be plenty. I bought a second spare just in case, because I am constantly loosing things.

I started out with three. I tend to misplace them so that way I always had one.

none :shifty

we had two at first, and then I discovered how much easier it is to simply lay a tri-folded dipe in the cover without folding and pinning. if you have enough covers, I highly recommend that!

but yeah, if you're going to use snappis, I can't fathom why you'd need more than two.

2-3 is plenty - one for the diaper bag, one for the baby to wear, and an extra on the changing table. That way when one gets poopy it can be thrown in the diaper laundry and you still have some to use :).

I discovered that laundering them shrinks them back up when they get stretched out. But, I also learned that it REALLY is a good idea to put the safety things over the claws or something might get ripped :doh Fortunately nothing critical was ruined.

Be careful where you put them, too...stepping on them hurts
