Toy Purging - with missing pieces

How do you handle this? I have several sets of toys that need to go, but they're missing a bunch of pieces. I'm just hanging onto them hoping that I'll find everything and can donate/sell them altogether, but at this rate that's never gonna happen.

You throw them away or freecycle them (listing missing pieces in the disclaimer if it won't ruin the set- ex. "Little People Farm - missing tractor and farmer, all other animals there" is fine :yes but this isn't, it should be thrown away: "Little People Farm: Roof is cracked, sounds are broken, missing 3 animals).
