Okay, so we've mostly transitioned from diapers to training pants (diapers for long car rides and at night, but that's it). So, as I'm looking at the new training pants I bought, it says to wash on warm. My old ones I was just washing with my diapers (cold rinse, hot wash), but given I spent extra money on nicer trim fitting ones, I don't want to ruin them.

Will washing them just on warm really work? Should I do a half cycle of a cold rinse first? Also, what about washing my diapers that he's still using, can I do them in the warm?

I would be afraid to wash them in hot, too. But warm water won't kill bacteria. :-/

If they're just peed in it, I wouldn't sweat it.

Likely, hot water will age the elastic faster, but otherwise do no damage. PUL has no difficulty with very hot temps.
