so what do you do the first couple of days when the poo is all meconium? doesn't that stain cloth dipes? or is there a way to get it out?

In my experience, meconium doesn't stain at all. :tu Breastmilk poop on the other hand...

I made a liner with fleece. After sitting for a couple days (fourth baby...busy Mama...laundry was last on the list..lol) the dried meconium washed completely off!!

it washed right off now liner was needed. Haven't have any issues with BM staining eaither though.

I have a blanket that was used for DD-E and it stained with meconium, and I think it was washed right away - as in before the mw left the day of the birth. Then I remember re-washing it a few times myself because the stain wasn't out. I don't know if she dried it though and set in the stain, so maybe that's why I wasn't ever able to get it out after that. :think

So is the trick to leave it for a few days before you wash? I think I can handle that! :giggle

ETA: yeah - I never had a problem with EBF poo staining either...
