I purchased a large stash of wipes a few months ago that we use for family cloth and diapering they are fraying and falling apart leaving a mess all over my thirsties tabs They have to be replaced asap What kind have you found outstanding in durability?

I just use the simplest available baby washcloths. :giggle I think Gerber sells them for a couple bucks a four- or eight-pack. It can be challenging to find baby washcloths without appliques and stuff on them, though.

I serged baby wipes out of 2 layers of flannel. They're holding up very well to daily use, esp the heavy weight flannel (got it from wazoodle).

All of my wipes are serged around the edges, so no fraying happens. I love my kissaluv wipes. I also have some velour wipes which are luxuriously soft. :heart

Kissaluv wipes rock. Three babies, and still holding up. Well serged flannel lasts nearly forever, too. I'm using a third hand set.

I make my own out of flannel and turned and top-stitch them so they don't fray, but we don't like the thread from the serged edges. :shrug3 The ones we have have lasted a long time

A few months of durability is not acceptable unless you're bleaching the tar out of them. I'd want my money back.

I have used cheap baby washcloths too. I am planning to make some myself with flannel also.
