Summers pretty much here soon the pools will be open and well be spending a LOT of time there I'd feel better with the baby in some kinda water appropiate sling for our trips there when in the water. Reccomend something affordable.
(Oh and I'm lousy and doing my own wraps)

I used my Moby in the pool a few times, just for walking around in the water.

I have a ring sling of Solarveil fabric and I love it. Dries super quick and the fabric provides extra sun protection. Solarveil can be hard to find but I recommend it if you can find it. I *think* I saw a post from Eesti that she had some.

my friend has sewn a ring sling for me out of the same mesh as a laundry basket. Can you (or anyone you know) sew well enough to make a sling?

I made myself a sling for the water out of t-shirt mesh (not t-shirt cotton). it was perfect! I made it smaller then my "regular" slings because it stretched, but it made me comfortable even to bf in the water and not expose myself :) And my son LOVED it.

ahhhhh I miss those days....

I know nothing about it from personal experience, but I asked the same question on a different message board several months ago and got quite a few links to this one.

The last time I took both DD and my friend's 7mo to the pool, I had the 7mo in the Ergo on my back while I kept DD from drowning. He got a little bit wet, but not really. My Ergo dried out fine....
