Puppets? I'd like to buy some for the kids

The one thing we don't have to play with is puppets and I'd like to get some.

What do your kids enjoy? What would you recommend?

Are you looking for people puppets, or animal puppets?

If animal, we have a ton of folkmanis puppets. My kids love to have out-of-the-ordinary puppets to play with, such as tarantula, skunk, big iguana, penguin, and more. As we are in Canada, we order ours from www.chapters.ca (http://www.chapters.ca)

We have a few animal puppets that have been given to us as gifts but they mostly get treated like stuffed animals unless dh or I initiate play with them. My sons favorite puppet right now is a simple sock puppet I made for an Ed class several years ago.
