If you use a diaper bag, where do you keep it at home?

I have been keeping mine on the dining table, but I really want to start using the table more. So, they need an accessible home. I have two bags (no way to change right now), so I need a nice large space.

on the washer. that's right next to the garage door, where I come in and out of the house. :)

I have LOTS of wall hooks. Usually, on the hook by the door. :heart

Mine lives on the landing next to the chair for putting on/taking off shoes. I live in a second/top floor apartment and the landing is right outside the door to our apartment.

hanging on a hook by the front door or on a hanger in the coat closet. this has been a habit developed slowly and painfully. i have littles who love nothing more than to go thru my bags and purse. :bag the closet is my fav place...i also keep my school bag, the library bag and and other designated totes there. easy to fill/refill, keep safe and grab quickly.

I have hooks for everyone's coats in our back hallway (next to the door that we use to get to our cars.) Everyone gets one hook, except for me ;) I have one hook for my coat/sling and one hook for my diaper bag & reusable shopping bags. It's super convenient to grab it on the way out & hang it up right away when we get home :yes

I despise using horizontal surfaces as "landing zones" when we get home :no

either on a really strong hanger in the closet, or on the closet door handle most of the time. :)

In my pantry (it's large, walk in) on a hook. Either a command hook on the wall or an over the door hook. In MI it was on a hook in the mud room, next to the laundry room.

To me hooks look less cluttered than on a surface.

Ours lives in a big plastic storage box under the child-size table in our living room along with my slings, hats, gloves etc. When we move, it will be kept on a hook as part of my Command Center (fab Idea I stole from here ;))

what kind of hooks are strong enough for a diaper bag?

I've used command hooks, over the door plastic hooks and hooks that were screwed into walls.

Mine are metal ones (with two hooks actually) & DH placed it to go into a stud in the wall so it's got lots of support. They can hold a LOT of weight.

We have a couple of the huge, industrial type ones that we use to hang stuff in our garage that I intend to put up for it

On the back of the front door -- on a reversed wreath hanger! Not "fancy" but VERY functional!!

mine lives in the car unless it needs to be refilled, then it comes in and gets hung by the door on a coat hook.

Hm, lots of good ideas. :yes :think

I guess the closet is the most logical place to keep mine. There's just not really room for two big bags. Maybe it's cleaning time. :shifty
