Any suggestions on how to handle it?

According to Jon, Caden is NOT allowed to sit on my lap. It will result in immediate shrieks, head butting Caden out of the way, or weasling his way in between us than going limp to make his dead weight move Caden. :-/

Caden handles it with apparent good humor, but its not fair to him, as he is still little and needs the lap time too. And its unrealistic for Jon to not share me, but he's only 16 months so :shrug3

When I do that, Jon tries to nurse so he can have me all to himself.

I tell my girls, "I have two of you and two legs. You can each have one leg for now." That seems to satisfy them most of the time. Sometimes, though, I do have to have my legs spread pretty far from each other to help keep the peace. (Now, what will happen when they both want to sit on my lap with the new baby? I'm not sure how that will work yet. If only I could grow another leg for him to sit on with them. :giggle)
