What does it tend to look like and what are the tools for addressing it?

I'm wondering (now that I have seen a thread referencing this) if this is partly what is influencing some of the new behaviors in my newly two-year-old little girl . . .

I'd recommend reading Your Two Year Old. Those books are the best addressing of the disequilibrium. I've definitely seen it in my older, kind of seeing it in my younger but he's not quite yet two.
