"You know, giving her a bottle just to shut her up, isn't going to help!"

Are you serious???? I'm so mad right now. I'm really getting tired of people and their "advice"! (Sorry, needed to vent for a sec.)

BTW: DD who is 5 mo was hungry and tired. So giving her the bottle did help.

She must have heard an adult say that before...how annoying! Of course you know best, Mama. :hugheart

Thinking positively...she already knows that when a baby cries it needs attention. That doing something to "shut the baby up" isn't healthy for baby.

What she doesn't know , and can't possibly know until she has one of her own , is that mama-gut intuition that tells us what the baby needs. (and in this case , warm milk to soothe a hungry baby tummy)

:hug2 Sounds like she is at that lovely age where she already knows everything. :banghead

I'm not sure that lovely is the word for it! :)

Apparently, we need a "dripping with sarcasm" emoticon :smile.

That would be cool, but I knew you were being sarcastic. :)

She does seem to come up with some interesting things though...lol

Good comeback to that next time (and someone is sure to say it again) is "You know what? Sometimes it does."
