Quick! Do you prep wool?

Do you? If so, how? I just got an Aristocrats wool soaker to use overnight and even tho I'd love to try it out tonight, suddenly wondered if I ought to wash it and lanolize it first. I have wool wash but no lanolin unless I can scare up a tube that they gave me at the hospital when the babies were born. What do you think??

What kind of wool wash do you have? I use one with lanolin in it, and rarely need to do anything more.
