How many pockets would I need?

I've decided to CD part time again. I have about 6 pockets. I'll put him in sposies at nap time and bedtime. And when we go out since i don't want to mess w/ wet bags, though I could be persuaded otherwise ;)

I'm thinking if I only wanted to do diapers every third day, I'd need about 20? Does that seem right? Ugh. That would be so expensive. I should probably stick to PF and wraps.

I find prefolds and covers so much easier honestly. They are so much cheaper. I find with 2 dozen prefolds and about 6 covers, I am good for about 2 days (not including nightime diaper).

Did you cd your older? Do you know that you prefer pockets to other types of diapers? I'd hate to invest a ton in pockets up front to find that they aren't your favourite, kwim?
