DH is away for 3 days, so I'm determined to do a major house cleaning to surprise him when he gets home. I am not the best housekeeper in the world, and I know he would be so pleased to come home to a sparkly clean house. I have a massive list of jobs to do in 3 days, and with two kids underfoot, I'm not feeling optimistic. I'll be happy to get just a fraction of this done. But I thought I'd keep the list here and check it off as I go. I'd love it if anyone wants to cheer me on :O

I hope it went/is going well! I know that when DH is gone I am so much more motivated to clean! :scratch Maybe I should send him away for a few days :giggle

I want to delete that list. I hardly got anything done :blush

I finished the living room, dining room and our bedroom. That's it! But, DH was very appreciative when he arrived home, and said he felt very loved when he walked in the door and saw the main areas looking so nice. :heart I guess I'll just chip away at the rest of it over the next couple of weeks.

:highfive Good job on getting the living room, dining room and bedroom done. That's quite an accomplishment and I'm glad your DH was appreciative. Don't feel badly about not completing your list. It was pretty ambitious for the few days you had. Now you can plug away at your list a little at a time and pretty soon your house will be exactly like you want it. :hug

Seriously, you did a huge job and a huge chunk of your list. Those are not easy tasks :hugheart and I think your DH saw that. :heart
