I'm so excited about this - and since the only other person I know who is pro-attachement parenting is my husband I thought I'd share it here. My sister-in-law works for a baby magazine in NZ (a very typical baby magazine called "Oh Baby!" aimed at the higher socio-economic end of the spectrum) which isn't AP or anything but in the issue that's just about to come out there's a fantastic article on co-sleeping, about it's safety and benefits. I'm so pleased that now when people criticise me for wanting to sleep with our baby (due in 2 months) I can show them this "mainstream" magazine which I think could potentially carry a lot more "weight" than other stuff (which may be seen as "whacky"). So any NZers out there - get hold of a copy of it when it comes out! (I'm not recommending buying the magazine in general, just this particular issue :) )
