I'm getting ready to order the MEOS introductory package (one dipe, one cover, one insert) to try them out. I can't decide whether to order the small cover (6-12 lbs) or the medium (10-20 lbs). Relevant info:

--I have 6 BSWWs already
--I am planning on using disposables for the first couple of weeks at least
--MW estimated yesterday that at 38 weeks, baby is 7.5 lbs

Given all that, I'm kind of leaning toward medium. Thoughts?

you'll need smalls....mediums usually fit better at the medium to upper weight range. Also it's more accurate to go by measurements then by weight. I can put two kids together who weigh the same but their shape is totally different and would require different dipes sizes. I always tell new moms to wait until they have their newborn so they can get measurements before buying a big stash. Also you may want to try a couple of different systems to see which one really works for you. :heart

It will be a little while before your baby will fit in mediums. However, since you already have 6 small covers, personally, I'd probably lean towards getting the medium, knowing that it won't fit for a while. But once that baby fits into mediums, they last a LONG time in that size. :yes
