View Full Version : Keeping him in the bed

DS slept in the middle for 5 months, DH and I on either side, with our own blankets so DS was in the blanket and pillow free middle.

Now he's been in his crib for 4 months now but with his recent weight issue, he's back to nursing 3 times a night. So he sleeps in his crib from 6-7p to 2-3a, then I bring him into the bed to nurse and he sleeps in the middle.

The problem is I woke up this morning with my crawling baby half hanging off the foot of the bed. We can't move the crib to block the foot of the bed.

So any other ideas?

What about a bedrail at the bottom of the bed?

That is a good idea. Like one of the ones they make for kids?

We have a mesh bedrail. I also sometimes lay on a sheet with baby next to me, bring the sheet up over his lower half and tuck it back under me, just loose enough so I'd notice him squirm away.
