These articles by Jeannie Fulbright sold me on notebooking. We will be doing this next year as a part of homeschooling. It will make keeping a portifolio easier as well. I'll just take a few of DT's better notebooking pages for each subject, copy them, and put them in his port.

I'm trying to do more of that too with my oldest. The problem I'm having is it's better (still) if I help him organize his thoughts, and write it down, and then he copies it over. We've got quite a pile to be copied, because somehow we never get to that part. :blush I'm hoping to get him to do a nice notebook for history next year. We tried History scribe this year, but I'm not sure if we'll stick with that one. We've also been doing Zoology I, but we've also started a Bird lapbook from Live 'n Learn Press, so I'm not sure if we'll get the notebooking done too.

I'll have to see if I have any sites to add later...

I decided I would have the kids start a journal for the upcoming school year. I like how the Notebooking would play into that. Thanks for the links!

We do this...it's great. I write the date and what the picture is or story that she is drawing about in the corner so I have a record of our year. :yes

FYI We use the main lesson books (that's what they are called in Waldorf) from Mercurius b/c they are cheap, have great colors, are blank and have a variety of different paper styles to choose from. I use them to keep track of our finances, menus, lists, etc., too. My dd uses it as a nature notebook as well. :)
