My heart was so sad tonight, but I'm glad I'm here

Tonight my 8 yo was remembering a time that she and Violin packed suitcases to run away. It was when they were about 6 and 4. She said she was so glad that I didn't let them.

What :bheart was that she said "You had sp*nked us for something, I don't remember what, but then we were going to run away." :sad2 :bheart

She couldn't remember why I had sp*anked her. So what good did it do, except to make my dd's want to run away from me?

BTW, my sister and I tried to run away at that age too.... Well, I was 5, she was about 9.. And then again when she was in high school(not my idea..she was dragging me along)...
