We're part of a co-op that meets every Wednesday. I'm "in charge" of the crafts for the 4 and 5 year olds (ds's class). Of course, I have NO CLUE what we're going to do and our first meeting is this coming Wednesday!! :banghead Does anyone know where I can get ideas? I'd like them to have a Christian theme, even Catholic if possible. I googled "Catholic kids crafts" and "kids crafts" and couldn't find anything. :no

Those Foamies crafts are great. They tend to have them in crafts stores and they get good ones in with whatever holidays are coming up. Some already have the sticky backs to them. My kids made nativity scenes at Pioneer Girls last December. Of course that doesn't help with the fact we're in September now. (sorry)

Or the wood crafts with the drawings on them - the kids could color them in with markers. Or you can get the wooden crosses they can paint.

They have finger paints that are safe for younger kids too, you may want to try. I think you can make those as well but I don't remember how offhand.

hth! :hug

Beads are good. We've done Christmas wreaths and other things with beads and pipe stems. And my children have discovered Perler beads. :grin This is a great hit right now.
