Okay, I have been into making and editting family movies on our computer.
I have some older videos on VHS. I would love to be able to edit the footage from that on the computer as well.
How can I do that?
I thought that as long as I got it on DVD, I'd be able to do it. My mil has a DVD burner, but apparently it burned in a format that the computer cannot import. I mean, I can watch the DVD on my computer, but I can't import the info into my editting program.
So is there a way to get video on a VHS tape into MPEG format (isn't that the standard digital video format)?
