i was making my dd mac and cheese and she asked what was all over the "microwaver" (which is above the stove). i explained that when water gets hot, it turns to steam, then when steam touches something it turns back to water. then i stuck my hand in the steam, it got wet, and i let her feel it to see it was wet. i don't know how much of it she grasped, but i felt like, "Hey! I am teaching her something! This must be what the "un-schoolers" are talking about!" :giggle
