Cyber School

I have been hearing so many good things about our state's cyber school. I looked up the website out of curiosity and both dh and I were impressed. I especially like the fact that it is free.

Does anyone here use a cyber school? What are your thoughts on it?

I notice it uses Calvert in the early grades. Any experience with that?

Okay, did some reading up on Calvert. I doubt it would be a good fit for us.

There is also K12 www.k12.com

We looked into it but are not doing it at this point because it is too rigorous for us; however at some point in the future it might be a viable option. :shrug

I really like what I see. I love that many of the books for LA are the same ones that are on Sonlight and FIAR lists. Very cool. :tu

Ds doesn't turn 5 until after the cutoff date, so we still have a year to ponder...
