the only one who has worn my baby while pottying?? just curious, if i am home, and DH is home ill try to pass him off. but there have been times i was alone,i put him down and the creaming started... there has been times he was asleep and i did not want to wake him... and finally there have been times in the public restroom, id rather wear him than place him on the floor... its one of those things i do, but can't get used to.. like when i need to go (2) i hope his sense of smell is not that great :O... and when i wipe its a little hard. and when i come out of the stall in the public restroom still wearing him i get some weird looks. so am i batty...before Adam i would thought someone was nuts doing this...

:tu Anything is better than putting a little one on a public restroom floor, or, in my case, setting a rabidly curious one year old free in a public restroom stall ("What's this little garbage can for, mom??? I think I'll open it and reach in!" :shifty :doh). Yes, I've done that many times and wondered if I was the only one too. :shifty :lol Guess I'm not.

I do that too, thoguh I refuse to hold my two year old will pottying unless he is really sick or something.

oh gosh no I still do it and my babe is 9 months old. If she's asleep, it's easier to hold her and go if I'm wearing my jammies with elastic than to lay her down and wake her up and all that.

Yeah, I too have nursed...while going... :shifty and she is ALWAYS in a pouch/sling/ergo/wrap when in a public restroom....she's into putting everything in her mouth right now so :sick2

I wore DD all the time to the restroom - especially in public restrooms. I have to say, its GREAT not to have to stand her on the dirty bathroom floor!!

i used to do that before DD was old enough to walk. she'd be asleep in the sling and well i carried her everywhere so why not the bathroom? on occasion i'd put her down but usually i'd just take her with me.now i just let her walk around

not only do I hold my little one while I potty, but I pull his/her pants off and put him/her between my legs so that he/she can potty too.

My baby is 4 days old and I've already worn her in the sling while I potty... and I've also already held her between my legs on the potty so she could tinkle too. :rockon
