Well, I spent all that time and effort trying to find the perfect slinging option and come to find out we are very low on money from hospital bills and I can't afford a new wrap/sling. So, I busted out w/a sheet and I'm too big around to do the wrap I was wanting. Guess I'm stuck with my ringsling untill we have more money. Right now, we spent our last bits on 2 diaper covers since I only had one to last us thru the day. :hissyfit This is an official hissy. ;)

If you want a wrap (thwe big long ones) just go to walmart and to there $1/yard section and get 5 yards-6 yards. If you can sew, just sew up the ends so they don't fray, if you dont, just get it a bit longer an knot the ends

I could do that maybe next payday--- the closest fabric option is a 45 minute drive. I didn't know they were so innexpensive.. good to know thanks!

U R AWESOME!!!!!!!! :heart I think it so great when mommies help each other out. I have always thought that if we all shared a little of what we have we would never want for anything. :amen

Lovemychildren-- what size is your 6 mo old? I have a practically new Bumkin cover that I'd send you. Then you'd have one more to get through the day. ;) Also have an older Mayawrap that was given back to me when the mama 'weaned' from it.... she knew that I would pass it on to someone who needed it. It's a large, and a color 39, and it has a repaired spot on it, but otherwise still very useful.

It sounds like your taken care of... I was going to suggest cutting the sheet in half down the middle and sewing the ends together with a french seam. That is, if you have a sewing machine. ;)
