What am I doing wrong?

I got a ring sling to use with DD2 so I can have hands free to deal with DD1...but I can't seem to get it to work right. When I try to put her in the cradle carry, she looks so uncomfortable...all curled up and twisted. I've tried the tummy to tummy position, but it seems as though the sling material is cutting into her legs (or she's falling out if I try to leave the material more loose). At this point, I can't use it at all...so I can only deal with one of my DDs at a time. Any suggestions?

Does she *act* uncomfortable? If not, she's probably fine. It looks awfully squishy in there, but most babies like the security of the firm hold.

Try pulling a little more of the fabric up to her back rather than under her legs. The fabric should be more under her bottom than under her legs.
