I've been lying down with Julius as he falls asleep, and generally he tosses and turns for a little while and then eventually falls asleep. The other night he was tossing and turning a little longer than normal, couldn't seem to settle down. Finally he asked, "Mommy, can I sleep on you?" I was lying on my back, so he climbed up and put his head on the cavity just below my ribcage, curled up on my stomach and legs and promptly feel asleep. It made me think of how much I loved having my little newborn fall asleep on my chest. I just never thought I'd be reliving that bonded feeling when he was 4 years old. :heart
