They have decided that the Ezzo materials should be taken out of the church library! They appreciate you bringing this to their attention, and hope you have a good day."

Thanks all!! I think I got about four hours of sleep last night from being so excited, relieved, shocked, so many emotions all at once...but mostly overjoyed at their decision. :heart :)

So meanwhile, I am at my aunt and uncle's house and spying that hot tub they have in the other room. I think I will soon grab my swimsuit, and relish this moment... :cool :P

I think they will, because my church is so big and so successful, smaller Southern Baptist churches across America look up to them, and try to copy what they do. I am hoping that they will look to my church as a role model in this. :)

Whoo Hoo!!!

Now, be praying for us. When we first started attending the church we are at now, they taught GKGW. We were actually there during our tranformation from legalistic, punitive parents to grace-based, posititive parents. We had never taken GKGW but just the Prep stuff had turned us off to it. So, I had collected quite a bit of information about the Ezzos and the program. I finally took the step of presenting the material to leadership in the church and they stopped teaching GKGW. I was elated. We taught a parenting in grace class in 2003. I am not sure they wre prepared to deal with our confession of not spanking though . . . we have never been asked to teach it again. No problem for me. I continue to live my life as an open book and allow God to use me as a testimony.

Now we find ourselves being led to another church to serve and guess what they have in their library? yep . . . the entire GKGW tape series. I know that God will strengthen me during this time. I intend to do what I did at our present church . . . just go in and live our lives as a testimony. I want to quietly establish our reputation so that we will have the respectable ground to present our concerns when the time comes. I know God will prepare the way for us.
