My Youngest Finished Homeschooling Today
We've been a homeschooling family since 2008 and today my youngest completed the last of his work.
I can't believe this season of my life is over. It sure is bittersweet.

Re: My Youngest Finished Homeschooling Today
Wow! That’s exciting and I’m sure bittersweet. I’m about to graduate #3. I have one more to go and am just not sure about all the emotions.
Well done! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Re: My Youngest Finished Homeschooling Today
My next season will have more completed knitting projects.
Seriously, though, my older brother has Parkinson's, and my parents are elderly, so I'll have more time to care for them and I'm so grateful for that.

That's wonderful that you'll have more time to spend with them.

Re: My Youngest Finished Homeschooling Today
It's great that you can *help* with that, but don't let it take over your life. It's easy for elderly parents to not realize, usually out of fear of things like the cost of paid care, how their needs mean a child has little time for herself and her spouse. Set healthy boundaries now at the beginning.
