Do you have a vegan sauce for falafel?

I really like Karams garlic sauce and they have one with tahini added. But, it is spendy and we can eat a bottle in one meal

Hummus should be good. It's easy to make and cheap.

I make it with Tahini- it's about $6.50 for a can but it goes a long way and lasts in the fridge. Basically I just whisk up tahini, water, lemon juice, garlic and salt. Let's see- these measurements may be off (I never measure my own recipes LOL) about 5-6 TB tahini, 1/3 -1/2 c water, 1 clove crushed garlic, 1/2 tsp salt??? youll have to try and taste it

I have a delicious raw recipe for a garlic sauce using those same ingredients (plus a few more.) It's great on salads and I imagine it would be pretty good on felafel.

I have to make a lot because it's so good we could literally eat it as soup.

OK, here's mine.

1/2 c lemon juice
1/2 c olive oil
1 tsp chili powder
1/3 c minced garlic
3 TBSP minced ginger
3 TBSP Bragg's (or Tamari/Nama Shoyu, etc.)
3 TBSP honey or agave nectar

place all ingredients in blender. slowly add olive oil.

using tahini in place of the oil sounds *really* good right now. Now I want falafel too.

We typically do hummus, tahini dressing (tahini, water, garlic, honey (you would obviously use agave or some other sweetener as a vegan sub)).

Thank you, especially the garlic sauce. I did a search and found out it is called Toom. So, I think I can make my own. Karams have one that has some tahini, too. I liked that because it wasn't overwhelming with tahini, just a hint.

I am having a huge falafel craving, but I cannot shop till the 3rd. But, we are definitely eating falafel on the 3rd

That is our problem. I think a bottle was around 8 bucks the last time I bought it. It has a squirt top and everyone has to squirt it on everything.
