I finally did it!
I made a good homemade sandwich bread!
I used a recipe from the Healthy Bread in Five Minutes A Day book - the recipe for Milk and Honey Raisin Bread - except I did not use raisins and for part of the whole wheat flour I used home ground sprouted kamut (I sprouted it in my sprouting jar, then dried it in my dehydrator and ground it in the vitamix) ground w/ a bit of amaranth and millet. I used mostly agave nectar w/ a bit of honey and some maple syrup. I still have more dough in the fridge so I can make several more loaves! It is short - about half the size of a store bought loaf, but would be taller if I use a thinner pan or more dough I guess. It is yummy and soft and yummy and yummy and did I mention good?
