-Thankful for lovely cool weather after the heat wave
-for big green places for the kids to play -that Kai's professor was willing to give him a chance and let him take her summer course despite being way under age. The first week went well and he's loving it -Zoom, as much as I hate it, it is pretty amazing what you can do with it -worship time in person with our friends here

Oh, I love this idea!
1. Our new neighborhood, with amazing new neighbors 2. My hammock 3. Being two summer classes away from an accounting certificate and diploma so I can re-enter the job market and help DH get out of a really bad work situation 4. My wonderful family, mom, and siblings 5. My amazing kiddos, who have stepped up to help with errands and DH’s usual home duties while he’s recovering 6. Online church services and a great pastor who checks on us constantly |

I'm thankful for good insurance and the ability to pay for needed medical care. It's something didn't have for most of my life and it is a blessing.
I'm also thankful that dh has a job that is flexible enough for him to take time off when needed. |

Re: Thankfulness! (Add yours if you wish)
I'm literally BURSTING with gratitude this morning. God opened the doors absolutely miraculously for an incredible education/employment opportunity for my son. Literally life changing. And with that one opportunity answered SO MANY prayers of mine in ways that were so far above and beyond that which I could even imagine or know how to pray for.
God is SO SO SO good and loves our children far more than even we do. I'm left in absolutely awe and thankfulness. AND I'm super excited to see how God is going to continue to work!

Re: Thankfulness! (Add yours if you wish)
I'm thankful for my dog. She's not the dog I would have chosen but she needed a home, and when she curls up on my lap it's like a soft, warm little weighted blanket that grunts. Very relaxing.
I'm thankful we had some medical bills reduced by half because of the hospital's financial assistance program. I'm thankful I don't feel "poor" enough to justify financial assistance, even though apparently we are. I'm thankful for friends I've grown closer to this past year and the ability to have real discussions in which we're honest about our expectations. |
