...anyone looking for more accountability in the new year?????

I've flopped around the past few years because, honestly, I was too exhausted and miserable to really care and take care of myself. But I'm hoping this year will be my time to be more intentional about my eating for health.

Anyone else trying to be better?

I am trying to get back on track.

I had habits I was working on in August and September and then got sick in October and neaver got back on track.

My 17 year old is still a vegetarian (started at age 8) so always looking for meat free meals that my son will ALSO eat.

Am I allowed here? We still eat meat but we are looking to incorporate more vegetarian meals this year for health and ethical reasons. We are starting slow and I'm glad you posted Christa as I forgot this forum was even here!!

Any good sites etc that will help me. I can be time poor with work and often battling health issues so EASY meals to start with would be great

I’m not looking for accountability but would love to join your group for some support/solidarity. I became a vegan four days before finding out I was pregnant! (Last summer) Lol. What funny timing! I did it for health reasons- was having minor kidney pain from a choline supplement and some reading led me to understand that, besides tossing the supplement, veganism was in my best interest. At first I was fanatical about eating variety - and fearful of being hungry- but within a week I found that I wasn’t hungry like I used to be when I ate animal protein. So my diet isn’t as varied anymore. And I’ll admit I do occasionally cheat- usually with cheese.
