So far I've only done steel cut oats. 4 c steel cut oats 6 c water Multigrain setting, 10 minutes. Put a cool, damp cloth on the pressure valve when done. It de-pressurized quickly. The oats were absolutely perfect!

I haven't done any (other hard boiled eggs, which we do love in the IP!) because from what I read, a different sealing ring is needed after cooking spicy/savory foods?

My sealing ring stinks but I haven't noticed it contaminating other food. I haven't tried cheesecake though!

I made this this morning: http://www.pressurecookingtoday.com/...teel-cut-oats/
But, I used Instant Pots recommendation of 1 part steel cut oats to 1 2/3 part water (it would be way too runny the way the recipe is written).

I have done a lot of oatmeal, but that's it. I was researching some recipes to try earlier today. Breakfast can be fairly stressful for me so I would love to find some good instant pot options.
---------- Post added at 02:17 AM ---------- Previous post was at 02:15 AM ---------- I would like to try this http://instantpot.com/arlenes-instan...bread-pudding/ but I don't think I have a bowl that would work inside ![]()

Things that could be breakfast that are on my list to try:
Baked Apples (I'm sure you could use juice or water in place of the wine) Eggs 5 Ways in an Instant Pot Eggs en Cocotte (though I'd have to do 2 batches to feed my family). Crock Pot Breakfast Casserole (you could do all your browning in the IP and then add the other ingredients and slow cooker setting overnight). We sometimes do puddings or custards for breakfast (I cut back on the sugar and top them with fruit), so if you're in the same boat, these might work: Tapioca Pudding Rice Pudding Cheese Flan I don't know when I'll get around to trying these, but I'll report back when I do!
