What's the consensus? Pie crust or no pie crust? Which way is your fav?

Made mine with a chocolate graham cracker crust.

Not sure if it's still dairy-free at that point, since it was a store-bought crust and I didn't read the label. :tomato But that's the kind of crust I think would go best...so, for homemade, something like the almond crust Rene just posted, or any kind of df cookie crust...oreo perhaps?

I just made this tonight and, while it's cooling and I'm licking my fingers/the bowl/the spatula, thought I'd bump it for the NKOTB.

Is there a difference between canned coconut milk and the half gallon fridgerator kind? I want to try this but I don't have a can of coconut milk.

You do need to use full-fat (not lite) canned coconut milk.

what if lite coconut milk is the only kind that's corn free? any other kind of milk that would work?

You could try adding some coconut oil to up the fat. It works for me to do that when I add vanilla to the recipe, anyway.

YES!!! I'd remembered this from years ago, and finally located the recipe again! Bumping for others who may enjoy it. Dairy-free, nut-free French silk pie in a graham cracker crust, here we come. Happy Pi Day!
