I prepared this dish tonight and it's soaking in the fridge overnight. In the morning I'll just pop in the oven and the kids will have an amazing delicious healthy breakfast.

I used whole wheat bread, and only added a small amount of real maple syrup as the only sweetener rather than the 1/2 cup it calls for. I'll probably top it with a little more real maple syrup when they dish it up.
It looks super delicious but I'll let you know their review tomorrow. It's a day off from school and my dh has the day off of work so it's sort of a weekend day for us.
I also found this recipe tonight and bookmarked it. Looks intriguing and like something I'd like to try.
