I usually cook dry beans (black or pinto) in the crockpot once a week (soak beans overnight, then put in crockpot with water and let cook all day).
We have beans and rice for supper the night I cook the beans, and then we often have
taco soup for lunch the next day.
Tomato soup is another favorite crockpot recipe for lunch.
And baked potatoes in the crockpot, I don't bother with foil, just rub with oil and salt and put in the crock.
