There is just so much going on all at once.

Our friends in Haiti are safe. Their region is only mildly affected by the earthquake and the storm.

Our last acquaintance made it out of Afghanistan. As of last Monday she still knew foreigners who were trying to get out. We're praying that they made it to their home countries but haven't heard an update. She's only a friend of a friend so I don't know if we'll get an update.

One of DH's friends who just left Afg last month reports that one of his home church members got stopped on the street. They checked his phone and found the Bible App and beat him right out in public. He's ok (no permanent damage) but terrified. I can't even imagine.
